Attracting 20 million visitors and participants from more than 190 countries, Queensland showcased its best talent, world-class capabilities and diverse opportunities at Expo 2020 Dubai on 1 October 2021.

Showcasing how Queensland is focusing on building smart industries and planning for an innovation-driven future, Trade and Investment Queensland explored opportunities in:

  • sports in anticipation of the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Designed by Brisbane-based architects bureau^proberts, the Australian Pavilion attracted more than 120,000 visitors in the first month of Expo. Themed, 'Blue Sky Dreaming' the pavilion features some of Queensland's top talent and world-renowned destinations.
