Trade and Investment Queensland will be closed for the holiday period between December 25th to January 1st.
Innovative Queensland exporters Paradigm Foods, Phibion, Chronosoft and Medical Rescue were awarded national honours in their respective categories.
13 Queensland companies had progressed to the national finals after winning their respective categories at the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards in October.
Paradigm Foods has won the Sustainability and Green Economy category. They were recognised for their commitment to sustainable business practices, and outstanding international success in innovative environmental outcomes.
Phibion has won the Resources and Energy category. Phibion has developed inventive solutions for tailings management in mining operations, improving safety and reducing environmental impact.
Chronosoft has won the Emerging Exporter category. The company created clever incident management software solutions which are currently being used by some of the largest festivals and events in Australia, and around the world, including royal events in the United Kingdom.
Medical Rescue has been named Australia’s top Professional Services exporter for the second year in a row. The Gold Coast based company specialises in providing deployable health and aeromedical evacuation solutions. Medical Rescue has a large clinical workforce that serves Australia and Southeast Asia.
Trade and Investment Queensland CEO Justin McGowan said the national recognition of Queensland's export leaders confirmed the extraordinary talent and innovation in the state.
“These exceptional Queensland exporters showcase the enormous impact local companies are making on the international stage,” he said.
“They are the best of the best in Australia and share a common thread of innovation and highly intelligent solutions to global challenges.
