Trade and Investment Queensland will be closed for the holiday period between December 25th to January 1st.
Cryptoloc uses patented encryption technology to make the world’s safest cybersecurity platform, giving clients the power to lock and control their data across applications.
Founder and director Jamie Wilson said Cryptoloc’s decision to open its doors in Japan began with introductions from Trade and Investment Queensland at a Tokyo conference.
‘We attended the Innovation Leaders Summit in Tokyo in 2019,’ Mr Wilson said.
‘The Trade and Investment Queensland team in Brisbane helped us prepare beforehand so we knew what to expect and how to pitch our offering.
‘Then the team in Tokyo really helped us to make the most of that trip, introducing us to key Japanese stakeholders and giving us top-quality advice on the Japanese market.’
Cryptoloc opened its first Asian office in Tokyo’s Shinagawa district in March 2020.
Just 3 months later the company was named by Forbes magazine as one of the 20 Best Cybersecurity Startups to Watch in 2020.
Cryptoloc has carried the momentum of 2020 into the new year, with more exciting projects underway and key relationships being established globally.
