Their falafels are packed with natural, fresh and nutritious ingredients and the company has introduced a trans-fat free range, as an ultimate vegetarian experience.
Managing Director Hamza Bildiren is proud of the Queensland company’s humble beginnings but is not surprised the rest of the world wants his scrumptious falafel snacks.
“We started so small, making falafel in our sheds and now we're distributing across the whole of Australia. We have a brand-new factory located in Yatala (south of Brisbane),” he explained.
“Now we're in this stage of exporting overseas, which we started last year.”
Ambitions around exporting from Queensland into international markets would not have been possible without the export advisory services of Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ), Hamza says.
The company values the support they’ve received – at no cost - from export experts at TIQ, the state's global business agency.
“Trade and Investment Queensland advised us to attend a trade show in Saudi Arabia and there was a great team there and hopefully we'll be exporting to the supermarkets there by the end of this year,” he said.
