Chronosoft at the 2023 Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards
Be it games or concerts at Suncorp Stadium, the Gabba, Heritage Bank Stadium and Queensland Country Bank Stadium, leading festivals around the state or community events like fun runs and triathlons in some of our favourite beachside towns, tens of thousands of people flock to Queensland each year to engage in these events.
Few, if any of these participants though could comprehend the sheer scale of logistics delivered behind the scenes to ensure both their enjoyment and their health and safety.
Fortunately, a groundbreaking piece of Queensland technology is providing that peace of mind, both here at home and increasingly in international markets.
Chronosoft is a market leading provider of control centre and incident management software solutions, making operations safer, more efficient and helping to manage and mitigate risk.
Chronosoft was born out of a tragic incident at a music festival, where its founders identified critical issues and saw the need for a customisable incident management solution that could capture real-time data in a reliable way.

The solution was Chronosoft’s now flagship product, Chronicler, which has revolutionised control room operations with real-time incident management and a user-friendly digital dashboard, providing a unified view of incidents to enable effective and streamlined communication.
Chronicler has enhanced the operation of a wide range of industry control rooms, both here in Australia and across international markets, including at festivals and events, sporting and endurance activities, stadiums and venues, health, transport, security and Government services.
In fact, its effectiveness across these sectors led to it being identified, and ultimately chosen, to play a critical role in one of the most significant historical events in recent memory: the funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Chronicler served as the cornerstone of Operation London Bridge (OLB), delivering an all-encompassing and adaptive management system utilised by all agencies at all levels in the delivery of the period of mourning and the funeral of HM Elizabeth II.
The platform was then again deployed earlier this year as the event-wide incident management solution for Operation Golden Orb (OGO) for the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
These join a list of major international events supported by Chronosoft, including the UCI World Road Cycling Championship.
Chronosoft’s impressive achievements were recognised at both the 2023 Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards and the Australian Export Awards, where they were named Emerging Exporter of the Year.
Chronosoft director Edward Swete Kelly reflected on the company’s impressive trajectory to date.
